What began as a hot dog and refreshment stand on St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church property during the weekend of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival has blossomed into a top ranked outdoor arts and fine crafts festival in its own right. Ranked as high as 8th in the country in Sunshine Artist Magazine’s “Best 200 Fine Art Shows”, the St. Stephen’s Art & MakersFest plays an important role in the South Florida Art Scene that takes place in Coconut Grove over all three days of Presidents’ Day Weekend.
The Show, held every year on Presidents' Day Weekend, takes place Saturday, through Monday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Visitors will enjoy the artwork of over 140 renowned fine artists and craft people, an international food court, children’s activity area, an authentic English tea room and musical entertainment, all on the shady campus of St. Stephen’s in the heart of Coconut Grove.
The Art Show is St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church’s longest standing cultural outreach event. Hundreds of volunteers from the greater Miami community help make the event a success. 2016 debut of the Art 4 Kids area was a huge success with candle making, sand art, painting, spin art and coloring mural whose proceeds gave food to the students in the St. Stephens Sister Haitian school, St. Etienne.
Stroll in the shady trees, across a green campus and enjoy Craft and Main Stream beer from Eagle Brands, Copa Wines, our famous Food Court and Conch Fritters, signature niche Makers and award winning Fine artists. Be a part of where ART IS IN THE HEART for over 29 years.
The Art Show plays an important role in helping St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and School achieve its vision of becoming “The Heart of the Grove” by raising money for a variety of cultural, spiritual, entertainment and public service programming to the community. St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church invites all people to join in a life of worship, mercy, justice, learning and service.
